SOD-Blitz Results & the Effect of the Drought on Trees
Thursday, September 24, 2015 @ 7:00 pm
Portola Valley Town Center - Community Hall

Matteo Garbelotto, Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management at U.C. Berkeley will answer questions about Sudden Oak Death (SOD) and this important ongoing study.

This seminar will cover results of the Sudden Oak Death survey - aka SOD Blitzes - performed by volunteers in the Spring of 2015, and the new recommendations to control the disease in oaks. An overview of drought-related oak problems will be discussed, including the best management practices that may help oaks survive the extended drought.

For the latest information, meeting schedule, and disease distribution maps go to: www.sodblitz.org
