This Week

Welcome New Vendors:

  • Clean Sweets - Sasha bakes her favorite goodies using no refined sugars and all are dairy and gluten-free. 
  • A Good Squeeze - Emily makes freshly pressed fruit and veggie juices in delicious combinations for your healthy breakfasts and evening cocktails!
  • Green Oak Creek Farm from Pescadero is finally back this week for the season with artisan lettuces, tatsoi, strawberries, veggies, and flowers.

 

Maggie's Picks for the Long Weekend


Sunrise Farms apricots & blueberries for a company dessert crumble.

Cherries, honey mandarins and Clean Sweets thumbprint cookies just for nibblin’.

Little Sky whole wheat toast with melted cheese and smashed avocado, top with crisp bacon if you dare!

Gallardo Organics gorgeous red kale sauteed with diced red potatoes and plenty of garlic and Big Paw olive oil.

Esquivel Farms purple asparagus and artichokes dunked in one of Greek Table's garlic dips.

Green Oak Creek’s baby spinach or tatsoi sauteed with garlic and red onions, sunnyside up farm eggs on top.

Vic Meats grass-fed meat & chicken quarters for the BBQ plus their grass-fed beef hot dogs with Big Paw ’s chipotle ketchup.

Claudia’s biscuits served as shortcakes with Gallardo strawberries or Sunrise blueberries.

Appetizer samosas served with yellow lentil dal and Greek table’s traditional hummus, jalapeño chutney and mango pickle.

Good Squeeze ginger lemonade (add an ice cube and your favorite spirits for a super cocktail).

One Ocean Seafood scallops wrapped in Vic Meats bacon…maybe on a skewer or just singles done in the cast iron pan.

Crisp Fuji apples, sliced and dunked into Nut’n Bean banana brown sugar almond butter with morning coffee.

Balance grasshopper…


Fruits

Cherries, blueberries, and apricots are beginning to arrive at the market. Strawberries are in their glory right now and very soon we will see the first of the ollalie and blackberries. Early white peaches have arrived and we still get to enjoy all the delicious citrus for a little while longer.

Navels, Tangor mandarins, honey mandarins (these have the bumpy skin and are super sweet and delicious) and lemons. The very creamy Fuerte avocados are in season right now and there are lots of wonderful apples still available. 


Veggies

Did you know that all of our veggie vendors are certified organic?

Gallardo Organics and Esquivel Farm bring us loads of freshly picked produce from just about an hour away. Asparagus, artichokes, Brussels sprouts, cilantro, parsley, lettuces, broccoli, huge cauliflower heads, chard, kale, spring onions, fennel, carrots, celery, potatoes and more.

Green Oak Creek Farm from Pescadero has artisan lettuces, baby spinach, tatsoi, asst veggies, strawberries, and flowers.


Additional Items from the Farm

Eggs, Honey, all pasture raised meats and chickens, bacon and sausage, grass-fed beef hot dogs!


Specialty Foods

One Ocean Seafood has local salmon and a great assortment of your favorite seafood.

Big Paw Olive Oils and Kinds of vinegar, delicious varietal olive oils plus asst vinegar, olives, chipotle ketchup and more!

A Good Squeeze (juices), Nut’n Bean nut butter and vegan spreads. Maggie’s Jams and Fudge (and a few eggs).

Lots of great bakery including Shampa’s Pies, Little Sky loaves, and brioche buns, Flourchylde Gluten Free cakes, cookies, and bread.

Yums by Claudia with pizza dough, pound cakes, biscuits and English muffins, toffee, and cookies. Plus, Clean Sweets!

Kathena Avelon Jewelry, Body & Soul Apothecary and Amador Owl Houses!


Ready to Eats
 

Roli Roti Truck brings us rotisserie chicken, ribs, fingerling potatoes and Brussels sprouts.

Greek Table makes stuffed grape leaves, olives, artichoke salad, hummus and dips, pita and pita chips.

Roti Samosas are in 6pk of veggie or chicken and crisp up in 5 minutes in the oven. Serve with their dips, chips and parantha bread, chutneys and pickle.

Crepes are back this week: Doorstep Organics aka Tony’s Crepes and Kettle Corn does made-to-order sweet or savory crepes.

Ce Patli makes delicious tacos, tamales, quesadillas, and tostadas. All with handmade freshly ground blue corn tortillas. And fantastic vegetarian refrieds.
