Earth Fair 2017 at Runnymede Farm

Portola Valley/Woodside Earth Fair 2017

Bring your family and join your Portola Valley and Woodside friends and neighbors at beautiful Runnymede Sculpture Farm on April 22nd from 11am to 3pm for a day of fun and information you can use immediately to design landscaping that  is beautiful now and will remain beautiful through dry and wet seasons. 

The event, sponsored by the Towns of Woodside and Portola Valley, features: 

  • Lunch 11am - 1pm
    Your ticket is redeemable for lunch catered by Redwood Grill
  • Face Painting
    By ‘It’s Fun Face Painting’  
  • Music by the Woodside Village Band’s Sax Quartet 

  • Earth Fair Exhibitors
    • Displays of water-miserly flowers — beauty for a tight water budget • Guilt-free, compliant water features • Designers of sustainable landscapes • Weeds-to-wildflowers — converting your un-irrigated, weed-dominated areas to native grass and wildflower fields • Alternative water sources — onsite greywater to delivered recycled water • Earth-friendly weed and pest management — methods and products that don’t add poisons to streams and sewers 

  • Awards Presentation 12:30pm
    Environmental Champion and Heritage Tree Awards.

  • Panel 1 - 2pm
    Discussion on sustainable landscaping by local experts, moderated by Woodside Councilmember Dave Tanner 
  • Self-Guided Tour of Runnymede Sculpture Farm

 

Attendance is limited and advance tickets are required.

Tickets (which include a lunch voucher) are $15 and are available at Woodside Town Hall and Portola Valley Town Hall in person or online at www.woodsidetown.org (click Earth Fair 2017 under “What’s New”). Get a bonus cookie if you come by bike or horse! 

** Free Compost Give Away for Portola Valley residents available from GreenWaste at the Portola Valley Town Center in the Schoolhouse Parking Lot (from 11am, while supplies last). 

Event parking is along Runnymede Road. Wear comfortable hiking attire and bring your own water bottle.
