The Town of Portola Valley will be performing street resurfacing and improvement work on the following streets between May 15 and June 28, 2013, weather permitting (view schedule). Repairs will include grinding worn areas, crack sealing, surface treatment of slurry sealing or cape sealing, and repainting traffic markings.
Traffic will be limited through these streets during the resurfacing process, with traffic controls in place in the construction areas. Normal construction hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Parking control signage with date and times of construction activity will be posted in construction areas two days prior to commencement of work. Roads will be reopened to full traffic and parking at the end of each working day; however, please note that removal of the surface asphalt will result in loose gravel and an uneven pavement surface during this phase of the project.

We are aware that there will be residents who will be inconvenienced by the street resurfacing work and we ask for your cooperation and understanding. These improvements will result in an improved street that will serve the area for many years.
