Historic Resources Committee

The Historic Resources Committee was originally established in 1982 as the Archives Committee. In 1994, the name was changed to the Historic Resources Committee when the Historic Element was added to the General Plan.

The chief purpose of the Historic Resources Committee is to maintain an archive of historic documents, maps and photographs for the residents of the Portola Valley region to enjoy (one may visit the archive at the Portola Valley Library). The committee also keeps an eye on historic properties in town and advises the Town Council about any issues relating to them.
