The Town of Portola Valley is considering a project to underground the overhead utility lines located along sections of Alpine Road, offering a significant improvement to the Alpine Road scenic corridor. Please view the current site map (dated January 2013) to note the specific areas that are under consideration for this improvement.
Please note that this project is in its infancy and subject to modifications and revisions. We will provide periodic updates on this web page to inform residents of any significant events (see below). The Town's Cable & Utilities Undergrounding Committee is also involved in this project and meets on alternate odd-numbered months (Thursday at 8:15 am).
Update 01/10/13: The Town Councill will conduct a public hearing on this matter at its regularly scheduled meeting on January 23, 2013 at 7:30 pm. To view the public notice, please click here.
