Join the fun at 7:30 pm in the Community Hall and enjoy a world-class flying team demonstrating the amazing agility of Hi-Tech Radio-Controlled (R/C) model planes and helicopters – even a “Quadricopter” or two!
Come early at 6:00 pm to see outdoor flying on the Soccer Field. If you have the courage, try flying a model yourself using the “buddy” system of control!
After dark, 9:00 to 10:00 pm on the Soccer Field - Come see the electric fireflies!
Exhibits will open at 7:00 pm in the Community Hall. You will be able to try the controls on an R/C Flight Simulator! Chat eye-to-eye with experienced pilots! Check out displays of models (bring your favorite along), and look over exhibits on Hi-Tech electric motors, batteries, control systems, digitally-encoded radio communication systems. Exhibits close at 9:30 PM.
Look over information on how you can develop an exciting career in these technologies. Learn about sources of R/C flying help and supplies and where to find local flying sites.
Attention: Experienced pilots – you are invited to bring your own R/C model(s) and share the Soccer Field during the outdoor flying sessions. “Park Flyers” only, AMA membership required. Only electrically powered models; no gas engines or turbines!
Persons of all ages are invited to attend – kids under 12 with an adult. Admission is free.
