Farmers' Market Thursday, October 9th from 3 to 7 pm
This week at the market:
- Portola Valley Bread is baking up Pain au Levain, Corn Porridge Bread, Sprouted Wheat (100% whole-wheat), Danish Rye, Corn Porridge made with Gluten-free ingredients, Buckwheat with Figs and Walnuts, Quinoa Kamut, and two types of spelt scones: currant-orange and corn-asiago-jalapeno.
- Dobson and Clarke has apple sauces, jams, jellies, marinara sauce and some veggie pickles (ask him about Sauerkraut).
- Sinbad catering has delicious and healthy salads, soups and entrees, all ready to eat.
- Victorian Farmstead Meats has chicken, pork, beef, lamb, rabbit, sausages and the best bacon.
- Old Dog Ranch has organic walnuts and walnut bitters, flavored walnuts and last of the season specialty peppers like chocolate bells, lunchbox multicolored bells, padronas, shishitos, jalapenos, etc.
- Webb Ranch has corn, tomatoes and "eating" pumpkins.
- Bounty of the Valley has delicious beefsteak tomatoes, organic farm eggs, leeks, onions, garlic and more.
- Smit Farm has delicious fresh organic juices, apples, plums, grapes and almonds.
- Roli Roti is back with wonderful fresh, hot rotisserie chicken and ribs.
- Rio de Parras has strawberries and an array of delicious certified organic veggies.
- Sunrise has crisp and juicy Asian pears, fuyu persimmons, late summer peaches and plums and delicious super sweet grapes.
- Crescent Farm has those amazing Jimmy Nardello peppers, padronas, eggplants and basil. AND fresh farm eggs fed only organic feed and living the good free-range farm life, just like farmer Jared.
- Diane is back this week with delicious family recipe fruitcakes and Love Morsels. Ask about her newest product - the Love Morsel Cracker!
- Flourchylde Bakery brings cakes and cookies and a variety of other things like breads, crackers, baking mixes - all gluten-free.
- Nut 'n Bean has oodles of nut butters to choose from. Something for every taste bud.
- High Note Coffee has the morning beans.
- Haley's sausage brings us delicious handmade, artisan sausage made with all natural, pastured pork and chicken.
- One Ocean Seafood brings us the freshest seafood and shellfish. Some salmon is still available.
Craft vendors this week:
Route One Pumpkins - organic, hand-pressed pumpkin seed oils make Sandy's soaps and lotions very special.
J Carruthers Floral has fall wreaths and preserved roses.
Music at 4 pm by MoonGlow (spin off of last week's Yukon Gold which was lots of fun).
