Special Time & Location - 6 pm in the Town Center Community Hall
As part of this Special Meeting of the Conservation Committee, PG&E will give a presentation on the upcoming rate changes, which are especially important for customers on Rate E7.
--------------------------------
PG&E will give a presentation on their upcoming rate changes on Tuesday, April 26th at 6 pm in the Community Hall. Customers currently on Rate E7 will be automatically transitioned to a new “Time-of-Use” rate on May 2nd unless they submit a request in advance. Due to the changes in the “peak period” from Rate E7 to the new rate, this could result in significant cost increases for those customers. The new rate has higher electricity prices from 3 pm to 8 pm, unlike the E7 Rate, which has higher electricity prices from 12 pm to 6 pm.
In addition, the E6 rate will also be “closed.” Those customers are also welcome to come with their questions. At this presentation, PG&E will explain the upcoming rate changes and the options available to affected customers. Please note, this presentation will only cover electricity rates.
