THIS WEEK AT THE MARKET:
Crescent Farm is back with delicious, local farm raised eggs and gorgeous baby spring mix, braising mix and arugula. Sunrise Farm has early stone fruits and blueberries. Smit Farm has fresh juices, cherries, blueberries and almonds. Strawberries and seasonal veggies, all organically grown by Rio de Parras.
One Ocean Seafood has wild & local salmon, available in both filets and steaks (special orders call Patrick 222-8685). Vic Meats has pasture raised beef, pork, lamb and chicken, artisan sausages and organic eggs. Did I mention their bacon? Unforgettable. Tomatoes for your BLT? Organic local hothouse tomatoes from Half Moon Harvest in Half Moon Bay.
Have you tried Sinbad's new carrot and beet slaw? Bob is a genius with veggies and he is there with us at the market himself every Thursday. A votre santé!
City Baking has sliced sandwich and baguettes, more of those chocolate brownies (so delicious it's hard to believe they are both vegan and gluten free!!) and also don't miss their chocolate chip w/ sea salt cookies and mini chocolate bundt cakes - new this week, Mushroom Mozzarella pizzettes!! (Bake the pizzettes, drizzled with olive oil at 375F for 5 minutes, and enjoy with salad of baby arugula, grape tomatoes and toasted walnut or pistachio).
