Celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of Portola Valley Farmers' Market! Lots of great vendors plus a special cooking demo from 4:00 - 5:00 pm:
See and celebrate what's cooking at the Slow Food South Bay teaching kitchen with our very own farmers' market fare! Chef Joni Sare will share quick and healthy cooking methods to inspire the whole family to savor time in the kitchen. Sponsored by SLOW FOOD SOUTH BAY, San Mateo Food Systems Alliance and Town of Portola Valley for our 2nd Anniversary!
WHAT'S IN SEASON:
In season now are peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, cherries, blueberries, strawberries and also Olallieberries from local Webb Ranch. Loads of greens and veggies, farm fresh eggs, pasture-raised meats and chickens, handmade artisan sausages, fresh local seafood, Sinbad salads and entrees, fair-trade coffee, craft beer, delicious bakery goods and scones, fresh pasta and ravioli, freshly pressed juices, handmade toffee, nut butters and jams made from our own market berries and summer fruit. HOT Roli Roti - chicken, ribs and potatoes.
