Portola Valley Farmers' Market - Thursday 3 to 7 pm

Did you know there are FIVE Thursdays in October? It’s going to be a veggie packed month!

Gorgeous and colorful fruits and veggies right now. Peppers, tomatoes, corn and stone fruits in bright oranges, reds and yellows. Purple peppers, grapes, cauliflower and eggplants. Berries,beets, pomegranates, pumpkins and of course every shade of green. Zucchini, padrona peppers, kale, lettuces, green beans, Brussels sprouts and more.

Fresh One Ocean Seafood, Farmstead Meat and free range eggs. Healthy but never ever boring nut butters from Nut 'n Bean, oodles of bakery goods including gluten-free and the new Shampa Pies (oh my), fair-trade coffee, jams and pickles, honey. HOT Roli Roti chicken and fingerlings and Sinbad Catering with delicious and healthy entrees, dips and salads. 

Also on the Menu: It’s a Haley’s Sausage Co week - she is coming every OTHER week now. Tantalizing Toffee is back, Dream Light Jewelry and fun... plus local music by Moonglow.


LOOK WHAT'S COMING UP IN OCTOBER!

October 8th:

  • We have Milliken Creek Vineyards coming back with their estate grown & bottled Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp and delicious.
  • Jen Raynes Art will be returning with her horse tack leather bracelets. Truly unique and wearable for everyday. Also Jen Carruthers Floral is with us on the 8th.

October 15th:

  • Please welcome Noble Treats - handmade liver & bacon doggie biscuits! Claudia is a local pastry chef (formerly of Flea Street Cafe and Late for the Train) and a Woodside Priory parent. Her passion is making delicious doggie treats from high-end, human-grade ingredients to create a treat that’s really special for your dog. Her treats are USDA certified and made locally in a bakery kitchen.

October 22nd:

  • Bill the Bulb Baron is scheduled to return for the day! Half Moon Harvest comes back for the fall and winter season with hot house lettuce, cluster tomatoes and more.

 

October 29th - Save the date for our annual Harvest Fest at the market featuring:

  • The Webb Ranch Pumpkin Patch and Train
  • Costume Parade (kids of all ages & feel free to dress up the pooch and join the parade)
  • Pumpkin Carving Workshop: How to Carve a Better Pumpkin by Andy Brown
  • Imagination Playground (Big Blue Blocks) in the Community Hall, oysters and beer, mask making by the PV Library
  • And just because we can, a hot chocolate truck :) complete with cafe seating!
