Farmers' Market - Thur 3 to 7 pm

PORTOLA VALLEY FARMERS' MARKET

Thursday, October 22nd 3 to 7 pm

We welcomed in the first RAIN this past weekend! Being a farmer has been a challenging occupation this year and winter is looking hopeful right about now (in the rain department at least). Farmers and food vendors alike are working hard each week to bring the best offerings of the season to you. Please join us for the farmers' market this Thursday at 3 pm.  We will be there and we hope you will be too!

Time change/Fall Back is in just 2 weeks: Market hours change with the first market of November….2 to 5 pm for the winter.

But first, Harvest Fest at the market on the 29th (3:00 to 6:30 pm):
We are stretching every last hour of daylight for this local Halloween event. Webb Ranch is bringing the train and pumpkin patch. There is something so incredible about having a pumpkin patch just appear in the parking lot!
- Free train rides for the kids on the Webb Ranch “train” - a tiny tractor outfitted to seat about 6 kids.
- Pumpkin carving workshop in the Redwood Grove with our local Andy Brown who believes that everyone is capable of carving a better pumpkin. Bring a pumpkin to carve, a sharp knife and supervision if you are a kid!
- Mask-making and the Imagination Playground courtesy of the Portola Valley Library.
- Food Trucks - Flamin’ Dogs, Roli Roti and Zoom Caffe w/ coffee drinks and Guittard hot chocolate, plus Sinbad Catering, beer and oysters and the usual delicious goodies.

- Cafe seating by the food trucks to enjoy your dinner and treats!
- A costume parade for kids and pets of all ages (pets are always welcome in town center and at the parade, but please keep pets out of the immediate area of the farmers' market tents : )
- Music by MoonGlow.
