Special Wednesday Farmers' Market - 2 to 5 pm

 

*Special Market Day - Wednesday, November 25th from 2 to 5 pm*

 For this week only, the market will be open on WEDNESDAY in observance of Thanksgiving.


THIS WEEK:


* Victorian Farmstead will be there - you can pre-order a farm-raised TURKEY or other special items for p/u on Wednesday. E-mail adam@vicfarmmeats.com

* Shampa’s PIES will be with us with Thanksgiving pies - Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Chocolate Cream, Apple Cobbler, Lemon Chess, Lemon Strawberry, and Pecan!

* HONEY to sweeten your own homemade organic whipping cream for that pie. Pumpkin pies and asst individual cakes from FlourChylde Gluten-Free Bakery.

* Farms eggs, farm bacon, nut butters and cashew cheese dips. Handmade toffee. Goat’s milk fudge and coconut milk fudge.

* Holiday VEGGIES including red, gold, purple potatoes, sweet potatoes, celery and onions, shallots, garlic, Brussel sprouts, broccolini, beets, butternuts, Delicata squash, asst greens, lettuces and more. Pomegranates, persimmons, citrus and asian pears to dress up your SALAD and top them off with SPICY PECANS from Dobson & Clarke. Apples for pie. Sausages for the stuffing.

* Sinbad dips and salads. Olives and tapenade for APPETIZERS. Doggie treats in hostess packs for the four-legged members of the family.

NEXT WEEK on Thursday, 12/3: 

New York Times best-selling author, Erin Gleeson, will be at the market with her absolutely gorgeous cookbook, “The Forest Feast." Pick up a personalized copy for somebody on your gift list or simply add this beautiful hardcover book to your cookbook shelf. Gorgeous color photos!

Also on 12/3, the Portola Valley Garden Club joins us to make holiday WREATHS for Town Center on the Schoolhouse steps. This event has become an endearing town tradition and you are invited to join in the fun. No experience necessary!
