Portola Valley Farmers' Market, Thursdays 2 to 6 pm (year-round)
This week:
Fruits & Veggies:
Mother nature willing, we should see our first strawberries in the market this week. Rio de Parras has been with us at the market since the very beginning and grows the very best organic strawberries. Their strawberry season is April to November. Besides strawberries, Rio has gorgeous big red beets and colorful carrots, dino kale and red leaf lettuce, gorgeous cauliflower in assorted colors, creamer potatoes, celery and more. Field of Greens has spring mix, arugula, baby spinach, asparagus, baby torpedo onions, leeks and fennel, all sorts of potatoes and sweet potatoes, cilantro and other herbs, broccoli and cauliflower and possibly the first of the spring zucchini. Sunrise Farm has delicious, easy peel citrus and Cara Cara oranges, Oro Blanco grapefruits, Fuerte avocado and more. Smit Farm has delicious organic apples and organic apple and apple blends, pomegranate and grape juices in half-pints, pints, quarts and half-gallons.
Nuts:
Our new nut vendor is Winter’s Fruit Tree. Phil and Phil Jr. bring us assorted sweet and savory almonds and pistachios grown in Winter’s California. They also grow walnuts and pecans.
Farm Fresh Eggs:
Crescent Farm (Jared) and Green Eggs-n-Jam (Maggie) bring local free-range eggs, Victorian Farmstead brings organic free-range eggs from Sebastapol and in a few short weeks, we will have eggs from just down the road from Windy Hill Eggs (Beginning in June).
Fresh Seafood, Farmstead Meats & Chickens:
Fresh One Ocean Seafood and Victorian Farmstead brings us a great selection of beef, lamb, pork, chicken, duck, handmade sausages and bacon from Sebastopol.

HOT Roli Roti chicken and fingerlings, Sinbad Catering entrees, soups, salads and crunchy freshly baked pita chips and dips.
Other goodies:
Nut butters and vegan spreads, local honey, fair trade coffee, fresh pasta, ravioli and sauces, toffee, organic popcorn, pies, gluten-free baked goods, crafts and knife/tool sharpening. Loads of parking and easy access to the library, playground and to the beautiful redwood studded town center.
