Food Preservation 101 at 11:30 am in the Library Join the UCCE Master Food Preservers of San Mateo/San Francisco Counties for an introduction to safe home preservation methods such as dehydrating, freezing, canning, pickling, and fermenting. Learn about food safety, kitchen supplies, tried-and-true recipes, and how to preserve your harvest for a year or more. No RSVP; walk-ins welcome.
Alphabet Rockers Hip Hop Show at 1:30 pm on the Performance Lawn Explore water conservation and healthy eating through beats, rhymes, dance moves and hip hop.
Chaparral Ranch Petting Zoo Experience the fun on the farm including a pony you can brush!
Electric Vehicle Showcase Get a close-up view of some of the latest electric vehicles Chevy Volt, Chevy Spark, Ford Fusion, Tesla Roadster, Tesla Model S, RAV4, Fiat 500e and Ford CMAX Energi!

Free compost (up to 2 bags) provided by GreenWaste will be available from 11 am - 3 pm (while supplies last).
Free document shredding from 11 am – 3 pm A Shred-It truck will be on-site where your personal documents will be securely destroyed and recycled.
