The event is sponsored by the Woodside Sustainability & Conservation Committee and the Town of Portola Valley.

Earth Fair Exhibitors Find out how to avoid food waste and make sustainable choices from our Town committees, local organizations and vendors! Plus get your kit to participate in the launch of the Food Too Good to Waste Challenge!

Food Preservation 101 at 11:30 am in the Library Join the UCCE Master Food Preservers of San Mateo/San Francisco Counties for an introduction to safe home preservation methods such as dehydrating, freezing, canning, pickling, and fermenting. Learn about food safety, kitchen supplies, tried-and-true recipes, and how to preserve your harvest for a year or more. No RSVP; walk-ins welcome.

Alphabet Rockers Hip Hop Show at 1:30 pm on the Performance Lawn Explore water conservation and healthy eating through beats, rhymes, dance moves and hip hop.

Chaparral Ranch Petting Zoo Experience the fun on the farm including a pony you can brush!

Electric Vehicle Showcase Get a close-up view of some of the latest electric vehicles Chevy Volt, Chevy Spark, Ford Fusion, Tesla Roadster, Tesla Model S, RAV4, Fiat 500e and Ford CMAX Energi!

Live Music by Charged Particles plugged in jazz with a spark.

Food and Drinks - $2.00 food truck voucher for first 100 attendees Delicious food will be served by food trucks including Indian Soul Food by Dum & The Boneyard barbeque.

Biking and carpooling is encouraged All bicyclists will receive a $2.00 off voucher redeemable at any food truck.

Please bring your refillable water bottle We will have a refilling station and water fountains on site.

Free compost (up to 2 bags) provided by GreenWaste will be available from 11 am - 3 pm (while supplies last).

Free document shredding from 11 am – 3 pm A Shred-It truck will be on-site where your personal documents will be securely destroyed and recycled.
