Farmers' Market Thur 2 to 6 pm - New Bread Vendors

Portola Valley Farmers' Market, Thursdays 2 to 6 pm

This Week, 4/21:

ARTISAN BREAD vendors at Portola Valley FM:  After many months of working on replacing both of our bread/pastry bakeries, we have wonderful news for bread lovers - the new Manresa Bakery from Los Gatos and Mayfield’s Bakery from Palo Alto have joined the market! Please welcome them to the market this Thursday. Even Phil Reilly is delighted at this news : )

FRUITS & VEGGIES:
Rio de Parras has the very best organic strawberries and field veggies. Field of Greens has seasonal veggies that are all family farm grown and free from pesticides of any kind. Smit Farm has organic apples and juices, nuts and dried apricots and I must say the best raisins I have ever had. Sunrise has delicious fruits - citrus varieties including honey mandarins, Cara Cara and navel oranges, blood oranges, white grapefruit, pomelo and lemons, avocados and perhaps the last of the asian pears.

FOOD VENDORS:
Fresh One Ocean Seafood, fresh farm eggs from both Crescent Farm and from Maggie’s Green Eggs-n-Jam flock, Victorian Farmstead is here this week with lamb, pork, beef, chickens whole and pieces, sausages, organic eggs, ham and bacon! Nut butters and hummus, savory vegan cheese spreads, gluten free bakery, toffee, organic popcorn, freshly baked pies and fresh local HONEY. Crafts, jewelry and Knife Sharpening (a good opportunity to get that BREAD KNIFE sharpened:)

WHAT’S FOR DINNER:
Sinbad Catering has wonderful healthy entrees, salads, fresh house baked pita chips and dips. Roll Roti cooks up hot rotisserie right in the market. Dinner is served!

MUSIC this week by Moonglow.

Back next week:
