Portola Valley FM, now we're cooking! Thursdays, 2-6pm
Portola Valley FM Cooks:
Anyone who’s eaten at that new little place across from the BBC and Kepler’s on El Camino at Santa Cruz Ave in Menlo Park
will be delighted to discover that Mama Coco’s Cocina Mexicana has joined the farmer’s market in Portola Valley! Beginning this
Thursday, Omar, the owner, will be grilling up specialties inside the tent and serving up favorites like their signature Veggie Fajitas Quesadillas, and their Seafood or Beef Enchilada, assorted delicious tacos and burritos and house-made guacamole. Horchata and a dreamy rose hibiscus tea called “jamaica” will be available to cool down your jets.
Also brand new and beginning Sept 15th is “Cooking at the Market":
Our very own local PV chef Laura Stec of Innovative Cuisine has helped the market to design a program to
demonstrate healthy, easy and delicious cooking right in the market. Once a month, Chef Laura will shop the market and
then delight our senses with quick veggie cooking tutorials which will inspire your next week of meals. Delicious samples will be served.
