Healthcare Professionals Mixer
Friday, September 30th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Town Center - Community Hall
Wine & Cheese will be served
On September 30, 2016, the Portola Valley Emergency Preparedness Committee will host a mixer for professionals in the health care field, including an update on the community’s current capabilities should we experience a major emergency. In the event of a serious event, such as an earthquake, it is possible that the Town will be “on its own” for an extended period of time. Understanding what resources are available from residents is critical our emergency preparedness.
Topics will include an overview of the status of our current plans, risk management, coordination of resources within the town, as well as practical information about locations where help may be needed and your liability as a volunteer. For any questions, please email towncenter@portolavalley.net.
The meeting will be held in the Community Hall of the Town Center at 5:00 pm; wine and cheese will be served. If you are unable to attend but still willing to be part of our community’s emergency response, please contact us.
