SOD Blitz Results & Maintaining Tree Health in Drought

Dr. Doug Schmidt, Primary Manager at U.C. Berkeley Forest Pathology Lab, will answer questions about Sudden Oak Death (SOD) and this important ongoing study. This informational meeting will cover all the findings on the current distribution of Sudden Oak Death based on the results of the data collected throughout California during the 2016 SOD Blitzes. Current disease management options for Sudden Oak Death will be discussed and some new SOD treatment options will also be presented for the very first time.
There will also be a discussion about how to maintain your trees’ health during a drought.
