Prospective Instructor Information
Are you skilled at knitting, basket weaving, or teaching artistic concepts to people of all ages? Are you an expert in your field, able to share valuable information with residents of the Portola Valley community?
The Town is always looking for new and interesting lectures, demonstrations, classes and activity offerings. If you are interested in teaching a class or leading an activity or demonstration, we are interested in hearing from you! The Town's Community Hall has two activity classrooms and a larger main room that can be divided into two smaller rooms that are well suited for classes of all types. Each activity room has a sink and storage cabinets for instructor use.
Instructors are independent contractors with the Town and are compensated through receipt of a percentage of the fees collected from participants. Leaders/instructors are required to complete and sign an Instructor Services Agreement with the Town. Please note that a new agreement form must be completed each quarter.
If you are interested in offering a class or other activity, please review an example of the Instructor Services Agreement and contact the Town at (650) 851-1700.
