To make your home more resilient to wildfire, the best place to start is with a free home assessment by the Woodside Fire Protection District (WFPD). You can schedule an appointment with WFPD at 650-851-1594. To see what is covered, refer to the WFPD 2019 Home Assessment Guide and the WFPD 2017 Home Risk Assessment scoresheet.

You can also get assessments from companies who will then help you with doing the mitigation work. If you are a member of PVForum, you can read or add to the database of community-recommended Wildfire Preparedness vendors.
