In recognition of the growing awareness of racial and economic inequities in our culture, and of the critical need to address those inequities, the Portola Valley Town Council has approved the formation of a new standing Town committee. The new Race and Equity Committee will address systemic barriers to inclusion that may exist within the Town's policies, regulations and practices. 

Committee Charter and Mission Statement

The committee consists of  up to nine members of the public, drawn from Portola Valley and its sphere of influence--Los Trancos, Ladera, etc.  Two members of the Town Council will act as advisory-only liaisons.
