The Woodside Fire Protection District (WFPD) has submitted an application to the Town of Portola Valley for a Zoning Code Text Amendment to allow public facilities, such as fire stations, within the R-1 Zoning District, a Conditional Use Permit Amendment, and Architectural Review for an expansion to the existing fire station (Station #8) located at 135 Portola Road. The expansion will allow WFPD to accommodate current staffing level and equipment storage needs.
